Default Newtown to NY City: Best train options? Brewster Parking?

Hello all,

My wife and I are shortly moving to Newtown and are going to be commuting to the city in the short-term. We wanted to know what was the best way to get into the City. From what I understand, its driving to Brewster Train Station, parking then taking Metro North.

My main concern is going to be parking in Brewster, is there any available? is there a wait list? Do you have to get there at 5am to get a spot?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

There is a shuttle bus that runs between a commuter parking lot in Danbury and the Brewster train station. You can use this if you find that there isn't any parking available.

HelloSam is on a distinguished road
Parking at Southeast is much more plentiful than in Brewster, but it's a little further of a drive.

Where in Newtown you are coming from also makes a big difference. I looked at one home off 25, close to Monroe and Easton, and from there would rather drive back roads to the Fairfield station.
