Westport or Fairfield (in that order). But that's only because I like a certain level of development & recreation facilities, dining, retail, etc. Other than their relative remoteness & somewhat rural feel, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the other towns you listed.
Yes , Weston is rural and that is what makes it a great town to live in. Beautiful winding country roads. If you need to do any shopping from groceries, wines, post office, bank - just run to the town center that is centrally located by the schools, library, houses of worship ,etc. If you need to commute to NYC - drive down to Westport or Wilton train stations and you'll be in NYC in about an hour. Another big plus if you have school age children - the schools are all in one campus which makes it very easy for pick ups when need be , sports activities and other activities.Weston is a great town to live in!!
Honestly of those towns, I'd go wherever I found the house I wanted in my price range. My preferance would be Westport, Weston, Easton, Fairfield, Wilton in that order, but all of them are very nice.
I grew up in Westport and just moved back to the area. Now I live on the Fairfield, Bridgeport border. While I'd tend to gravitate towards Westport, you really can't go wrong in any of these towns. Visit each, see which meets your needs. Figure out what's most convenient (or perhaps, least inconvenient) to work and good luck!
