When i read your 2:07 a.m. post, i thought to myself: "O.K., i can understand this guy's viewpoint a little better now. Maybe this could be an interesting discussion?"
Then, i scrolled down and caught your 2:16 a.m. follow-up post.
I don't see any reason why that comment was necessary.

Please watch the language you use on this board. Insults will not be tolerated. They serve no purpose other than to flame posters and send threads off in the wrong direction. Thank you, JayCT, Moderator

The original post in this thread was a list of the nations best schools, of which CT had many. My post simply stated that one of those schools was also on the "in need of improvement" list, as well. I was not and never would "bash" a thread. Do not draw me into your negative posts again.

WHAT?!?! Stratford put a thread up here and underlined all of my mispelled words. If you are worried about throwing a thread off in the "wrong direction", then maybe you should address the issues as they arise.
usmc, in the question that I had asked you, I never used the word "bash." I had always assumed that you were being honest. I just had asked you to clarify, is that too much??

One post does not send a thread off in the wrong direction. A series of posts do. And this has become a series of posts. Please stick to the original topic. Thank you, JayCT

I wonder why Glastonbury didn't make the list this time around. Greenwich, which didn't make last years, was added. I also see Bolton on there - I have heard really good things about the schools there too.

I rarely believe what these magazines post as best schools. I do not necessarily believe that their criteria is correct. Last year Glastonbury was there. Did things in the school change that much that it is no longer worthy of a listing??? I doubt it. Same goes for some of the other schools not on the list. JMHO, Jay

I hear you regarding magazines. But their method of obtaining these scores is pretty good, even if they skip some states. Sure beats out Forbes.
Glastonbury may have not changed, but that could be enough to kick it off the list. Other schools may have changed for the better (like Bolton).
