Well I gotta say that it is great to see East Haven taking an early lead. If East Haven makes the next round, this will be the first tournament in which East Haven gets past Round 1. I think the town has been a little unlucky with tough draws in the past, but I always thought that East Haven is a cute small city feeling just adjacent to New Haven.

What it is with New Britain over Willington? Isn't New Britain pretty much a dump? I never looked highly at that city. There are some nice areas, but overall I feel it's very meh, in fact I prefer Meriden. Willington is a really nice rural town. This just surprises me a little.

Thompson and Hartland appear to be having it a little tough. I hope to see these towns through by the end. Just little rural towns that have special places in my heart but definitely not super popular.

All of us here on C-D are the real winners to be able to vote in such a great tournament!

I'll come back later tonight to announce my votes. Happy to see the eternal #1 have a bye
Thanks so much man! Always a pleasure doing tournaments like these! In fact, next tournament in 2024 will be the 10 year anniversary, and I'll have to come up with something spectacular.

Anyways, I hope this one is the best yet, so far!

The Play-in games. The Wildcard Round. DannyK does it again. He outdid himself. This was pure genius.
There's a lot to digest here. Votes tomorrow

Well, you can kind of say the same thing about the Meriden vs Bethlehem fixture. Meriden probably has a lot more, but Bethlehem has more charm I believe.

I think my personal bias leans in this direction for almost all towns in CT. I've only been to Hartford a handful of times over the years & it was always on business, so I didn't see much more than the downtown area. For New Haven, it was a wedding, after-party in the nightlife area and a boat ride the next day, so I love New Haven for that. But it's the charm of all the smaller towns that I'm really interested in.

Looking forward to following this thread in the weeks and months to come! Danny K, thank you for your time and effort!!
