The New Canaan area is generally a bit more expensive than much of the rest of Ct.

In Monroe, the price has been 4.29 the past week or so. However, my dh (who works in New Canaan) has been buying his gas in Trumbull for 4.25 a gallon the past week, and I've been buying mine in Shelton for 4.19 a gallon the past week.

It was reported on the evening news (yesterday) to be $4.21. We are still the most expensive state surpassing California and Alaska.

The Costco in Milford had it 4.04 on Friday. Fairfield county, especially lower Fairfield is typically higher than elswhere in the state. Whenever I leave lower Fairfield lately, I check prices and top off. My daughter goes to school in Milford, so whenever I have to go to her school, I hit the Costco gas station!
