Default Looking for a good neighborhood in Bristol

I am going to work at espn in Bristol and I have been looking for apartments in Bristol, but have not found anything nice I get the feeling that Bristol is headed for the dumps I have also noticed the area seems to be a bit run down. any suggestions in near by areas that would not be more than a 30 minte commute? Looking for a decent neighborhood in the range of 675 to 800

Try looking in Plainville or Southington. Both are much nicer to live in and have better schools.
