Default Dr Mike's Ice Cream in Bethel

We had a soccer game up in Bethel today - and the only thing that got me through the agonizing, sweaty minutes on the sidelines was knowing that I would finally get to try Dr Mike's afterward. It was ridiculously good. We got the Chocolate Lace, Cherries Jubliee and Cookie Dough - all divine.

Mm, sounds good! I just discovered Rich's Dairy Farm in Oxford last year. Ice cream is my weakness (and chocolate cake, brownies, M&Ms...)

Ah, but just a few miles from Dr. Mike's on 302 in Newtown is the Holy Grail of ice cream: Ferris Acres. I like that when I visit I can see the cows that produce the milk that makes the ice cream.

I try to go to Rich's Farm whenever I'm nearby. Their ice cream is amazing.

I'll have to check out Dr. Mikes sometime.
