I may be going in to the 90's as well here.
My favorite hang outs, In Hartford, Challenge's Sports Bar, Bourbon Street, & The Arch Street Tavern. I loved The Great American Cafe in Glastonbury. Favorite Restaurant - Brown Thompson's in Hartford. The Blue Fish Festival in Clinton was so much fun back in the 80s. Favorite radio station 106 WHCN. I loved Picozzi (sp?) and The Horn. I loved to shop at Poor Richards on the shoreline and in New Haven. |

NRBQ Jimmy's in East Haven and Hamden Sallys/Pepes New Haven Colliseum/First concert Earth Wind and Fire and cherry cigarette papers Hanging out on the "Green" Cheshire Academy The Keg house when I was underage (cant remember the street) This is a blast! |

Moved out of Ct in '89, but what I remember:
Turbo Saabs Skinny ties Piazza and beer at the Keg in Hartford (off Farmington Ave) Great sandwichs at the Riverton General Store after shopping at Hitchcock's UB-40 @ Toads Place rocked B. Heart Fried Broccolli & Cheese, the magician and stuffed grisley bear at B.T.'s Sears outlet in Bristol Sweet Orange bread from the Sage Allen bakery getting off in Hartford from 84 east to get 91 north Tunxis Electronics |

Turbo Saabs... LOL...
In 1985 we got an Audi 5000 "Turbo." Of course, it was my mothers and she never went above 50 and didn't drive on highways. I'm not sure how much good that turbo did on the sides streets of Fairfield County. |

Misquamicut RI) Drive Ins (Berlin, Southington, and Hartford on the Trn Pike). First Job Bradlees on the Berlin Turn Pike. Wifes First job Caldors (Bristol). The arcade/pool hall in Southington. Lake Compounce Where I met my wife. Mount Southington (the ice sheet) and black berry brandy. New Britain Res. |
