Default Sylvan Knoll

Hi all,

I saw an wonderful townhouse at the Sylvan Knoll complex to sell. The price is considerable cheap, so I was wondering if that's a good area to live in Stamford?

We have a baby girl and I also want to know about the school system.

I am asking here because realtors want to sell, so, anywhere it is going to be a nice place to live .

Thanks all,

Ed

Sylvan Knoll is a co-op, not a condo. It's quite nice, and fairly safe. I've heard the co-op board can be very choosy. Just be sure you know the difference between co-op and condo before going that route. The price is lower than comparable units because it's one of the few co-ops in the area. You'll pay higher monthly fees than for a condo.

Please note, if you are considering the public school system associated with a Sylvan Knoll listing (or for any other listing for that matter) please consult greatschool.com. It is an invaluable site for such research.
The elementary school (KT Murphy) is rated 2 out of 10, middle school (Dolan) is rated 4 out of 10, and HS (Westhill) is rated 3 out of 10 - UGH...
