Default Tolland, CT...Help w/Health Food Stores

As a person moving to Tolland, CT, I was somewhat sad to see that two stores I live off....Trader Joe's and Whole Foods...are not in close proximity.

Luckily Whole Foods it says is 21 miles away...24 minutes...but Trader Joe's is all the way in West Hartford.
I have strict dietary concerns which makes a store which focuses on special selections important.

I wanted to know those of you familiar with the area

1) Are there any closer Health Food Stores that are pretty decent to Tolland?
2) How bad a drive is it from Tolland to Glastonbury...it said 21 miles but only 24 minutes...which made it sound relatively stress free.

Thanks.

Aldi is a weird store of off brand cheap foods, not anything like a TJ's or Whole Foods (though the same company as TJs). If you aim to eat a natural diet, Aldi won't help you much, if at all.

It should be an easy drive to WF. I miss having a TJ's close (I used to live 5 min. from one), so I stock up there once a month or so. Luckily WF is on my way home from work, so that is my store of choice.

It isn't that TJs isn't big, many people would love one here and many of us travel periodically to go. They just haven't built one. From what I understand, TJs is slow to expand in CT due to our law where you can't sell wine at a grocery store. Wine = big profits for TJs in their stores. There are a bunch of TJs in CT, all on the shoreline west of New Haven, except for the West Hartford store.

The drive to Whole Foods will be easy enough, all highway driving (84 to Rt 2).
