Smile Recent College Grad Relocating to CT from NYC

Hi everyone. So here's my situation

I just graduated college and have lived in the NYC area my entire life so I am used to the big city. I will soon be relocating to CT to work in Windsor Locks and have been unsuccessful in finding a place to live. I think I have come to terms with not being able to catch the subway all around.

I was wondering if there are any options for 1-2 bedroom living besides most of the community complexes which I have visited in the Manchester area.
Also, is the idea of renting a 1-2 bedroom house in South Windsor completely unrealistic?
I appreciate any help, ideas, recommendations, advice or tips. I have spent weeks researching this stuff and just want to make sure I feel at home once I do move.

Unfortunatley my family just rented our condo in Windsor locks which is really NICE, or i'd offer that up.

Anyhow, craigslist is your best bet for finding rentals.

Search Windsor Locks, Windsor, Suffield, Enfield and East Granby for good proximity to Windsor locks itself.

Finding a 1 or 2 bedroom single family rental will be HARD in South windsor as their aren't many rentals available their....

Good Luck!

Manchester will have far more new and newer apartment complexes then South Windsor.
Vernon also has the very attractive and upscale Hockanum Crossing.

For somebody just out of college you might find Manchester or South Windsor a little too quiet.

You might want to check out West Hartford or Hartford (west end or parts of the south end).
