Danbury has some nice area towns. Bethel, Brookfield, Newtown, New Fairfield, Ridgefield, Southbury, New Milford and Redding are all towns to consider with great schools.

What is your price range?

In that price range you will find some very nice homes around the Danbury area. All of the towns mentioned would be good. I also might add Ridgefield to the list. Of these, redding and ridgefield would be the pricest because they are closer to the city. New Milford would probably be the cheapest. for information on schools check out the website below. Hope this helps. Jay

Newtown, Southbury and New Milford are all GORGEOUS. Can't go wrong with any three of those towns. All have great highschools, Newtown High School, Pomperaug High School (Southbury & Middlebury) and New Milford High School. My personal favorite would have to be Newtown, it's right next to Danbury but still offers the rural charm of a smaller town even though it is a suburb. Good luck!

This is true. That said, the northwestern section of Newtown is about 3 minutes to Danbury by car, of course through Bethel.

Fairfield is very close to NY, Offers great quality of life, Has all that you need without a big commute like other towns mentioned, you can ferry to Long island to visit your friends you leave behind, rather than driving back towards the City,
I have town comparison charts, direct message me

Anthony
