Hi!
I recently moved to Branford and was hoping someone could recommend a great salon and hair cutter/stylist in town. I've seen a lot of shops around but was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I'm a white female in my late 20's looking for a trendy cut.

Thanks!!

W Salon in Madison is fabulous. Walter Porta is the owner -- he is pricey. The other stylists are all great and the looks are very trendy and on point. It feels like a New York City salon... just love the results.

I recently made an appt. at W Salon. I too was looking for a new stylist and after reading this post I decided to give it a try.

I wish I would have made the appt. with another stylist because I ended up with one of the worst haircuts. I do my best not to bad-mouth salons -- or anyone for that matter, but I have to be honest.

I asked for an appt. with a "master stylist" and the girl who cut my hair -- while VERY sweet & personable, was probably about 20-years-old and could not possibly be a master stylist.

She was very nice though, but I will not go back. It was not worth the $$$ in my case.

So, back to the drawing board looking for a new stylist!

allusions in Branford, on Branford Hill (across from mcdonalds) does the hair for the anchors at ch 8. I went there in march and thought the stylist I had (Roxanne) did a great job. I think it'd be worth it to go there. I'm actually long overdue to go back.
