Hi there! I'm moving into graduate housing in Storrs next month as I pursue a master's degree. I don't have a car (living in Chicago right now), and don't intend on getting a car. Thus, I know I'm going to be reliant on buses or the kindness of strangers.
I've been trying to navigate the CT transit website, and I just can't find what I'm looking for. So ... Is there a way to get from Storrs to Hartford and Hartford to Storrs on the weekdays and weekends? That is, without paying $50 for a shuttle service? |

It is going to be nearly impossible to commute from Storrs to Hartford daily without a car.

No no, not needing to commute ... just the occasional to and from (my best friend lives in Hartford -- she doesn't have a car, either, and her bf uses his frequently).
And when I move next month, I'll be dropping off a rental car at Hartford airport and needing to get back to Storrs without spending a bajillion dollars. |

reason180 THANK YOU! I can't believe I couldn't find that anywhere ... $16 isn't too bad. Now if I can figure out how to get from Bradley to 1 Union Place on a cheap-o bus, I should be set. Yipee!
