Volvo repair in Mansfield area
Anyone know a great Volvo repair shop near Mansfield? I saw TONS of Volvos when we visited but everyone I asked was really iffy about their repair shops. My car is a lemon and always needs work and I'm tired of living in central TX where it's hard to get repaired. I'm sure there's got to be someone good in the area considering the prevalence of Volvos there. By the way, if you have a 2001 V70 T5 and are always repairing it... DM me and we'll commiserate. Thanks!

Go to Hoffman Motors on Rt. 6 in North Windham. Very reputable and been in the area for 30+ years. They work only on Volvos and Saabs for the most part.
Hoffman Motors Inc., Jct. Rt. 6 & 203, North Windham, CT 06256
860-456-8334
I am not associated with Hoffman, I just know they do really good work.

Contact Tony at ACT Auto Group ( www.aciauto.com). It's worth the drive to Windsor.

Why drive to Windsor when you have a very reputable repair shop in North Windham?

My experience has shown that ACI's service rates have been almost half that of other service shops. Plus you get the fully Volvo certified master tech with many, many years experience. The loaner car program is cool as well.... You don't have to have someone follow you to the shop. Just schedule the service, show up and drive away with a loaner.
Just another recommendation... If it makes sense to use Hoffman, use them.

mine is a 2001, the first year they made the V70 T5 apparently. it is definitely a lemon with lots of issues. i would NOT buy one from 2001 but do it from a later year. Also, make sure you have some one who really services a lot of volvos to look at it first. good luck
