Hi Everyone,
My husband and I just moved to West Hartford for my job. My husband is in the environmental field and looking for work within Hartford or West Hartford. He has a Master's degree in Environmental Management and Sustainability.

Can anyone recommend some good companies that either might be hiring in this field or might be good places to start looking?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

You can always check the DEP, although I believe the state is currently in a hiring freeze. Or this is a good site for environmental jobs which you can search by state - e jobs

Good Luck!

Some local towns may need help- good idea would be to contact the Town Manager's office or Personnel- they may accept an application.

There are a number of environmental consultants in the area. He can check them out by calling them or checking their web sites. He should know though that many do not advertise for jobs since it is hard to find good people through open ads. Jay
