Hartford Homicides 2007
Remember now, the violence is confined to a small area in a specific neighborhood. Just ignore those citywide flags.

Right ,, if you notice there were quite a few murders along the"west" end of the city.7 to be exact.
and 8 in the south end, and of course the lovely NORTH END which borders Farmington avenue leads the way in Murders.
And, these are just murders, low level street crime is waaay out of control!
Yes and keep in mind that for it's size the FBI has deemed Hartford one of the most dangerous cities in America PER CAPITA

Reading this, I did a bit of research. Looks as though Hartford is the #1 homicide city in CT (not surprisingly) with 29 murders in 2007. Bridgeport and New Haven tied at 13 each. Stamford had 1 murder in 2007--yeah, just 1!
Compared to larger cities, Memphis had 132; LA had 392; Chicago 442; NYC 494; Philly 394; Boston 66; and New Orleans 209.

The West End is in zip code 06105, and there were 2 murders there-both domestic. Parkville is a different area.
I'm no Hartford cheerleader, but there are a few decent areas.

Give me a break..... If you don't go looking for trouble in the trouble areas you will never see this kind of violence. Yes, your car might get broken into anywhere in Hartford, but what american city can't this happen in?

Clearly Uconn99 and 97 are the same posters with the same ridiculous premises.
Duh,,I'm sure that only people who were looking in "trouble" areas deserved to be raped, murdered, and assaulted.
Listen genius, the question was about Hartford not"any American city"
