Default South Windsor

I am about to interview for a position in South Windsor. It appears that I am a good candidate for the position.

The job pays 90K/year. Is that a livable wage in South Windsor or the surrounding areas?

Thanks

If you are single that should not be a problem. If you are just renting to start and you can't find something in your price range in South Windsor you can try the nearby communities of Manchester, Vernon or perhaps East Windsor.

Completely doable. Here's recent data on condo prices and home prices in the Hartford area. Renting in the area can range from anywhere to $900-1,400 a month, depending on what you're looking for...

Thanks for the responses! Amy, Stratford is right, posting links to your own realtor websites isn't allowed so I have to delete them... AFTER I bookmark them of course.

Once again, thanks!

Stratford: do you know how to post pictures then? I would be happy to post the pics of my data tables, but don't have them hosted on a separate URL. The CityData moderators have never said anything before when I posted links to statistics pulled from the Multiple Listing Service.

Thanks. We'd be looking to rent for the time being. I've looked at apartments in the area online and they seem to be about the same as they are here. Maybe just a tad more expensive.

Looks good! Seems like prices have really fallen in the Hartford area. Wow---
