There are differences between Milford and Fairfield. Though it has a wide range of housing options (modest apartments to mansions) Fairfield is a bit more upscale than Milford. Depending on what you like, this could be good or it could be bad. Visit both towns and see which suits you best. Good luck, Jay>>>>

Woodmont end of Milford is going to be the newer homes and better kept homes. Devon end is a bit older. Neither end is bad. You may want to keep this in mind when looking at homes. Both ends are convenient to the beach, but there is more beach access on the Milford end. Prices here while not cheap are much lower than Fairfield.

My first is due in 4 weeks, so we have another few years to worry about it. >>>>>

Congrats early. We get our first two aren't do for 4-5 more months (yes two ) So we also haven't gone through parenting a child in the Milford school system. Although many years ago I was a Student in the Milford school system. But that was back to when Records were what you played Music on and not frisbies. Then again Cassette tapes and the VCR were cutting edge technology. Back then I would of thought HD and DVDs were diseases we would be talking about in our next health class.

In Fairfield, YMCA has good after school program. They pickup the kids from school as well.
