Default ATV trails

I am moving to Connecticut in October and was wandering if their is any ATV trails, clubs, etc. I have any ATV in Maine and was wandering if I should leave it there to use when we go back and forth or bring it down here with us.

Not sure if there are clubs, but in Seymour there are ordinances about quads being used only within your own property lines. Makes it tough if your on a 1/4 acre lot.

For the peace and quiet of the good people of Connecticut, leave them in Maine.

Aint much open space here like in Maine.
Bring them if you like, but you'll likely only get to look at them.

The ghetto kids in New Haven just race thm all over the streets. The cops apparently dont care.

CT sucks for that sort of thing. It just takes one rich vacationing New Yorker jerk-off to complain and suddenly gigantic clumps of acreage are closed off to everything but rallying liberals. You'd get ticketed for farting in one of their parks.

State law doesnt mean a damn thing either. Mountain bikes must stay off of the blue trail as a state law. Thats any blue trail in any park. Seems simple enough. Try taking your bike on the blue trail at Sleeping Giant. Warning followed by a ticket. Tell the CO that state law permits access and you'll be luckey not to get arrested.

If you hunt, use ATV's, hike and camp (real hiking not strolling along the 6 foot wide gravel path they made for the yuppies) or just mountain bike the majority of the state hates you.

If you can help it at all stay in Maine. CT is a cold-sore on America. If you have to come to CT I hope you can afford land because to own it is the only way you'll be able to use it and even that's not a guarantee.

I would stay in Maine if it wasn't for work. My work is subject to being around big cities. I used to work in Boston for years and would commute from Maine daily. I was transfered to Philly for what was suppose to be one to two years which turned into four and now am working in New York. I have lived in a very upscale NJ town now for 4 years so I well know what a yuppie is. At least there is nothing they can do about me driving my Harley or diesel pickup truck.
There are actually quite a few of them along the coast of Maine, most of them came from other states and try to make it like where they came from. Thank God they are not in the northern part of Maine. A few have tried but usually move out pretty quick when they realize they don't get there way. I still have a camp and other properties in Maine, so I will probably spend most of my weekend's there, especially during snowmobile season. We are so far away now we are lucky to go home once a month.
I actually raced moto cross in the 90's at Central Village CT. I think the track is still open.
