Default Rents??

Do rents in Connecticut; new haven, hartford... go up yearly like in New York in general?. Does anyon know the fares out to connecticut from nyc?

We don't have rent controls like you have in New York City. Here, the market (competition and condition) usually dictates the amount of the rent. If they're privately-owned units, sometimes the tenant can negotiate the amount.

As for fares from NYC to Conn., check out http://www.mta.info/mnr/html/plannin...les/index.html and click on East of Hudson => New Haven.

My rent has gone up every year in the last 7 years, but sometimes only by $20.

Thanks for you helps so far!. That 20 buck hike a year adds up! trust me!, in many cases its never a flat fee each year...it goes up by a few dollars more or less.
