I don't think there are any in Fairfield itself. I believe there is one in Newtown but don't know the name of it. Jay

Yes, right next to the Southport Racquet Club is a sign that says, simply, "GUNS". I'd start investigating there.

There's a shooting range called Wooster Mountain on Route 7 in Danbury/Ridgefield vicinity. Not too far.

I shoot at Wooster Mtn alot. Bout every weekend. Great place but its only 50 yards.
Its a public range on state land run by the Danbury shooting sports assoc. Its about a mile south of the Rt7-8 connector on Rt7.

The one in Newtown is called Fairfielf fish & game but theres a list a mile long to get in. If your a teenager you might live long enough to make it.

Theres another in Wallingford called Blue Trails. They have a 100, 50 & 200 yard outdoor range, skeet & trap as well as a rimfire/handgun range inside. Call first tho as they been being harrased by our antigun majority & the 100 & 200 yard ranges were shut down. I understand the 100 yard range is open again but dont know for sure.
There are many indoor pistol ranges around the state.

There's a shooting range in Norwalk. I believe it's on Main Street, near the entrance to the Rt 7 connector.
