hartford310 is on a distinguished road
Default Best route to Roger william zoo

From farmington to providence zoo, there are three wyas I can think of:
1. 84 to 384 and route 6
2. 84 to route 2 to 395 to route 6
3. Route 9 to 95
I have checked the google map. Distance wise, 3>2>1, but time wise, differences are less than 15 minutes (from 1 hr 47 minutes to 57 minutes).

IF I go during weekend, what would be the real travel times if anyone had experience with any one of the three routes above. Thanks.

I have gone all three ways plus Route 2 to route11 to Route 85 to I-95. I would say your number 2 route is best, but the route above will allow you to stop at Naturres Art which is a great interesting place to stop with kids. They have a lot for kids to do and helps break up the trip. Jay
