Child care in Cheshire
I'm moving to Cheshire this summer and since Kindergarten is only 1/2 day, I'll need after school care for my son. I'd appreciate any opinions you might have on any Cheshire programs. It's difficult to pick one based on a website alone. (I'm originally from NW CT but am in FL now) Thanks!

Hello. I have one who will be going to Cheshire kindergarden in September as well. Many people send their kids to the program at Happy Times for the other half of the day. Happy Times transports the kids to/from the Darcey Kindergarden (depending on whether you have am or pm kindergarden. By the way, am or pm is based on where you live in the town). Overall I have heard good things about Happy Times.
Another alternative is to send your child to St Bridget's which has a full day kindergarden. I know a few people who have done this for just K and then moved back to the public school.

Please keep in mind that Saint Bridget's gives priority to those who are persuing education PAST kindergarten and allow those students entry firrst.
Then will allow children who are only attending for kindergarten...

Many larger daycare centers have programs for children entering half-day kindergarten. Most will provide pickup services. We did this and had no problems. We did specifically request that our kids be in a morning kindergarten though. We wanted to get them on the bus at home in the morning and then go to daycare in the afternoon. It made the day simpler for them. Our town complied with our request for AM kindergarten without a problem. We do not live in Cheshire but I believe there are several daycares there. Ours was Stork Club and they did have a center in Cheshire as well as here. Hope this helps, Jay

That doesn't mean people dont "intend" to pursue it longer and then "change their minds" after kindergarden. I'm not advocating that, I just know for a fact that it happens.

I'm sure it does happen, but it's not right to lie if you have every intention of NOT continuing. Very Christian of you.

Since you're dealing with a business (and one of the largest in the world at that), I would say that it's not very ethical of you instead.

Let me type it again for all future people then.. hahah
Guess i should be more clear next time... LOL
It's NOT very christian of you to lie about something to obtain admittance to a school when you could be bumping others who ARE really continuing the education their.
