Shelton to Stamford commute?

I would also check out Fairfield. It is a great town with a lot of shopping and restaurants. The schools are excellent, there is a wide range of housing options and you should be able to find a modest but nice home under $375k. I am not sure what you expect for the price but the Tunxis Hill section is nice and has many homes in your price range. Plus Fairfield is a bit closer to Stamford than Shelton.
