Default tax in connecticut

were can i find tax answer to my question about if you live in connecticut but work in new york what type of tax do i pay in connecticut.

You only get NY State + Federal Income Taxes taken out of your paycheck - no NYC and no CT. Any taxes you owe or overpaid would be handled by CT through a mutual agreement. I would double check this with your accountant, but I believe the taxes in NY State are higher than CT, in which case you would pay a little more out of each paycheck and get some credit back at tax time. I'll know for sure in about 2 1/2 months - that's the situation I'm in.
