I was looking for updates on Stamford's downtown developments, and came across the Stamford Downtown Developments updates page. I thought I'd pass along some interesting latest updates for these projects. This does not include anything under development on the south end, or south of I-95. There are significant projects under construction in reference to Harbor Point on the south end.

Here's the list for the immediate downtown area:

Royal Bank of Scotland - Washington Boulevard & Richmond Hill Avenue
A $500 million, 400,000+ square foot, 12-story North American Corporate Banking Center on 3 acres, just north of I-95. Projected to bring 1,150 new jobs to the city initially with growth to 3,000 jobs expected.

Status: Estimated delivery Spring 2009
Developer: Royal Bank of Scotland

Trump Parc - Washington Boulevard & Broad Street.
A 37-story, 177 luxury condominium tower to be built on a .5 acre site with a 3,500 square foot retail component.

Status: Estimated delivery June 2009
Developer: Rich Cappelli Associates, LLC

Highgrove – Corner of Forest & Grove Streets.
A total of 91 luxury condominium units ranging in price from $1.1M to $3M, designed by renowned architect Robert A.M. Stern.

Status: Estimated delivery Fall 2009
Developer: Ceebraid-Signal

Park Square West – Park Place, between Washington Boulevard & Summer Street.
A 2.8+ acre site with a total of 567 residential apartments in four residential towers. The first residential tower with 143 apartments was completed in 2001. Phase II will consist of 189 apartments and 10,500 square feet of retail space. Phases III & IV will have a total of 235 apartments and 20,000 square feet of retail space.

Status: Phase II –Pending financing
Developer: Corcoran Jennison Associates, LLC

Atlantic Centre- Ritz-Carlton Hotel & Condominiums Tower on Tresser Blvd. & Atlantic Street.
A 39-story, twin tower high rise development on 3 acres, which will include 198 hotel rooms and 289 condominium units plus 56,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.

Status: Estimated ground breaking 2012
Developer: Rich Cappelli Associates, LLC

11 Forest Street
A mixed use project with 9,000+ square feet of retail space with 12 foot windows fronting on Forest Street. A total of 18 loft style residential apartments centrally located on Forest Street a half block from Bedford Street.

Status: Spring 2009
Developer: TAG Forest, LLC (div. of Seaboard Properties)

Tresser Square – Tresser & Washington Boulevards.
A 1.2 million square foot residential & retail mixed-use development on a 4.5 acre site. The project will have 832 condominiums and apartments and 130,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.
Status: Pending approvals
Developer: Lowe Enterprises
