I swear to you I had this very conversation with the arrogant government worker at the DEP.

I said something similar about the deer and more importantly the coyotes. The response?

"you shouldn't leave your children unattended sir".

So I said in repsonse...if I ever see something coming after my child, it's getting a bullet between the eyes. I don't care what you people say. Period. Thanks for being useless to the problem at hand.

I can see how overpopulation can be a problem. I just dream of the day that I can have what my parents have. They live out in the country on acreage and deer just roam their yard. The deer don't bother anyone and nobody bothers them. They put out some pellets in their bushes and the deer don't eat their plants.

What kind of pellets? Never heard of that! BTW You can easily get a bow hunter to hunt on your property if you have 2 acres or more. The man who hunts on our property has been hunting for over 40 years. Also he told me it's not illegal to kill Coyotes in CT - you may want to look that law up. Here's the State Web Site for hunting.

Hi- always keep in mind they sell stuff for the dog that you apply once a month. It kills fleas and ticks. (frontline I believe its called) this will help keep you animal safe and also decrease the chance your animal might bring something into the house. You can always consider getting the yard sprayed in the spring to keep the tick population down.. Search backyard pest control.
