Oh, I know! But I think it does need to be included somehow, to get a true picture of an area's demographic makeup. A lot of Connecticut's diversity is in its Latino population, unlike other areas where East Asian or Indian populations are more significant...

What about East Hartford, Windsor, Manchester, West Hartford, Bristol and Enfield?

The OP looked into Manchester but dismissed it because of the schools. I would think they would do the same with East Hartford and Bristol. Plus commuting to enfield from Bristol would be a nightmare. As for Enfield, their schools are good but not necessarily considered to be excellent. Again West hartford might be the best choice. Jay

There are many schools in Hartford, it's a great city, diverse as can be and the parents absolutely love education. the City itself is very diverse with an African Population burgeoning since 2003 on Asylum Hill area.

well depends where in north Glastonbury if your talking about center then yes, but northern part of e. glastonbury has no diversity and all the kids go to hebron avenue. Naubuc only has the diversity because of the village, where all poor income families live, they get cuts on gas and have to pay less for rent ect thats where all the african americans and hispanics live.

OMG - are you another troll??
So much wrong with this post that I can't even bother to reply. I believe the OP has what they need to make an informed decision at this point anyway.

I agree. Welles Village does add to the areas diversity but it is the home to more than just poor people. Many are hard working immigrants or single parents looking to better the lives of themselves and their children. Rents are based on income and there are limits. Also there are many African Americans and Hispanics living outside of Welles Village. Some started there but then moved on as their fortunes improved. Jay
