Question Help....Need Info About Meriden CT !!!

Hi, I am trying to relocate from NY to Meriden and needed to know if the commute back to NY would be difficult? And if the city is a nice city to raise a disabled child?
Also is it affordable?

Meriden is right off of Interstate 91 and 691 so it's easy to get to from Interstate 84 and Interstate 95. (depends on where in NY you are trying to get to)
Meriden is very affordable for a CT city.
Not sure if it is a nice city to raise a disabled child.
There is plenty of shopping, and a nice mall.

If your looking for the easiest commute you might look into cities that i95 runs through. Also theres several trains that run to NY daily.
