I love scary movies, I can't wait to see it! Unfortunately, most scary movies have really poor acting and cheap special effects, so I'm not going to get my hopes up for it.

The trailer looks scary as hell....I love to watch scary movies, but always regret it after I do. I'm scared for days...LOL.
I'll pass on this one I think...I'll have nightmares.

LOL I saw a documentary on this house and when I saw this trailer, I was like "wow...they really 'hollywooded' this one up!"
They probably had to shoot it in Canada to keep up with the misconception about us being in the great arctic of New England.

The Haunting In Connecticut
There already was a short documentary type thing on about this haunted house in Southington. I know exactly where it is and have been by there on several occasions. My son knew the kids who lived there and there was also a cousin who came from down south to visit the family at the house..my son and his friends went to this house to pick this girl up to go out one night. My son and his friend could both NOT go inside for some reason. They said it felt like something was holding them back. THIS IS TRUE.
A few years back, there was an exorcism performed in this house and it was thought that after that all was ok. A Cox Cable guy went in to install cable for a new owner/renter and the light switch in one of the rooms kept going on and off. He didn't stay any longer than he had to.
History has it that this home was at one time a funeral parlor and the equipment that is used to embalm bodies was still in the basement when one of the families moved in there.
A very true story and well known about locally.
