Hi,

I am CT resident.. I am little confused how this scenario works.. I am trying to call telebenefits line.. but the line is always busy.. here is my situation.

I lost my job in june 1st week of 2008 and have been claiming the unemployment benefits.. sept and oct of 2008 I did temporary job in my field and again started reclaiming the benefits by reopening the claim(not the new claim) now trying for jobs again. starting claiming tier 1 benefits too.

Suppose if I get another contract base around 6 to 8 weeks in april and if it end in mid of june, since my benefit year ends by june 1st week, am I going to continue tier 1 and tier 2 benefits or is it going to be a new claim as I finished the benefit year and did a short project before june.

If it is a new claim, my unemployment benefits may be calculated based on how much I earned inthe benefit year I think.. am I correct..

can somebody explain what happens if I get any small temporary job which ends after ending benefit year. ie in june.
