You can try Tacos Mexico on Fort Point St in Norwalk.
And I forgot, Los Cabos in Norwalk on Wesport Ave. If you're coming from East Ave, it's right before you get to Stew's (Leonards) as you're coming up the hill. Right side of the road.

Hmm, well I can honestly say I've never been to any place around those areas, so perhaps over there it does suck. lol
Around the Hartford area we truley have some good Mexican - I.E. the places I listed.
You know, I have to apologize as well. Reading my words back they came out a little more harsh then I meant them. Sorry.

Also I want to point out that Senor Panchos (Southbury) is different than Pancho's and Gringos (Brookfield and Ridgefield).

Also, for Southern Food, try Chef Wayne's Big Mamou in Springfield, MA (Cajun style), or Dorothy and Leeroy's in Bloomfield- which I think is takeout only and banquets right now.

Agreed! Monte Alban is terrific. I wouldn't know how authentic it is, but it's delicious, that's for sure.

They aren't. I actually know the owner's son of P&Gs, though not very well. The family moved here from New York about 20 years ago and opened P&Gs, and since they have expanded to Ridgefield (actually closed last year), Brookfield and I think the new one is in Bethel or Newtown. Senor Panchos has locations in Monroe, Southbury, Litchfield and one opening in Prospect. Senor Panchos used to have a location in Westville, that has since closed I believe.

I was born and raised in Texas. MOved to CT in 2003. The best mexican I have found in CT is Baja's in Orange. As for Bar-B-Q, Wilson's in Fairfield is not bad.

I'll have to check it out.
I also forgot to mention Aunt Chilada's in Hamden - good place, for CT.
