Default Activities for children in Durham, CT?

I am a new mom of a 4 month old. We are thinking about moving to Durham, CT. What kind of activities are available for infants, children and older in this town? Thank you.

HAHAHA!! within the actual town, i would say that's about it.
But Hamden is nearby and has a nice park with barnyard animals to look at.
Cheshire has a few places where you can pay for mommy and me classes that are quite fun.
Middletown has Kid City which is fun once your child starts crawling. They had a website.

what activities exactly are you looking for??

Durham is a small somewhat rural community, so there are limited activites. I believe you can find things to do associated with the Town Library and through the local parks and rec department. There is not a lot to do with a 4 month old but there is when they get older. Neighboring Wallingford is a larger town with more to offer. The YMCA there has a lot of programs you could join. There also may be a Newcomers Club in the area to join as well. Good luck and welcome to Connecticut. Jay
