Default Parking at the State Capitol?

Not the most exciting post, I apologize! However, does anybody know how to go about parking at the State Capitol as I have an interview and want to be fully prepared. Is there parking onsite? On the street? Or would you have to park in a parking garage? Thanks so much guys!

heather121 is on a distinguished road
There are visitor spots in the Capitol's parking lot. The easiest way to get there is exit 48B (off 84E), left off the ramp & left at the first light (technically the 2nd, the 1st is for a crosswalk) into the parking lot; I drive by it every day on my way to work. Good luck!

If they are taken, directly South on Washington and Lafayette street near the courthouse there is a parking garage and parking along the street in that area if you can find a spot.

I have been to the Capitol a number of times and have rarely had a problem finding parking in the garage adjacent to the Legislative Office building. Good luck, Jay
