Well of course not, all the demons have been released and sent into the light, or wherever it is that demons go.
I saw the movie, and thought it was very entertaining. It doesn't surprise me that Hollywood would change the "facts" to make a better story, that's typical of movie producers. In the movie, the funeral parlor was more than just a funeral parlor, but that's all I will say so I don't give anything away. I know so many members here can't wait to see the movie, lol.

But as for tearing down the house, if it's no longer haunted, what would be the point? I think if you buy a home with a history, you are also buying the history, unpleasant as it may be. I'm sure they were told the house was "haunted". The current owners could always sell and move, and with the notoriety of the home now they might actually make some money on the deal.
