Default RAGWEED POLLEN & Connecticut

I know there are some allergies to all kinds of things...

BUT how about RAGWEED POLLEN in particular...it is generally in the AUTUMN (NOT spring). So ragweed sufferers get it in August, September in particular.

Any ragweed pollen sufferers get it bad in Connecticut that time of year (AUTUMN)?

(I keep stressing Autumn, because so many associate allergies with springtime and hay fever, which doesn't effect me whatsoever).

Bump, any ragweed sufferers? Probably good news if not, then might not be an issue

My wife is extremely allergic to ragweed...to the point where she used to spend August with her parents in California before we moved to the Northeast. We have lived in the Albany and now Hartford areas for 3 autumn seasons and can confirm that ragweed is a non-issue in this part of the country (all relative of course).

Just confirming...Albany NY is where she had many problems...but NOT in Connecticut?

That is good news.

Good to know. How bad is mold in New England? The leaves tend to be a problem as mold will grow under the leaves on the ground.

Actually she found both Albany and Hartford to be very similar in this respect. The Midwest (Illinois, Indiana) is where she had a lot of problems!
