Default General Contractor/Home Improvement Recs in B'port

Hi All - we're taking the plunge into an investment property in Bridgeport. Since we are taking advantage of the HUD 203k loan - we have to submit an estimate at closing. Which means I need to get at least 3 bids for the work that needs to be done - to make sure we're getting the most bang for our buck.
Since it's a govt program - they have pretty stringent requirements - the contractor has to provide the estimate, E&O insurance, Copy of biz license and a resume. (Who knew contractors had resumes?)

Anyhoo - let me know if you can recommend someone top notch.

Thanks in advance!

Yeah - we didn't go forward. I didn't find the process too difficult - but very time consuming. Tracking down contractors for quotes took forever. But once we got that - things were going smoothly. Message me if you have specific questions - I'm happy to help.
