Home of Bristol University, located in Hartford county and has around 62,000 residents. Mostly working class families, and has 2 public High schools, Bristol Eastern and Bristol Central.

Not the greatest highway access.

Home of Muzzy field

Home of the Northeast Little league championships

I lived on the Bristol line of Terryville for a while and about lost my mind getting in and out of the city to anything and from what I've seen it's gotten only worse with the new strip malls on RT6.

The town itself is "okay" - a bit depressing for my taste but certainly not the worst there is in this state.

Besides Lake Compounce which is great the rest is not so great. Not horrible, just kinda a little....dumpy. Southington is nicer as is Cheshire or Wolcott.

It's you again! You should go to www.greatschools.net to find out about the schools in the areas you are inquiring about because they are all very different.

I live in Bristol and fully agree about the highway access. However, if you can keep yourself in the Forestville/Southington area of town, there are some beautiful homes and quick access to the highway. It takes me about 5 minutes to get on the highway or get into the Southington Queen St area for shopping. It's kind of a suburbia he** with the twists and turns of the road but it's quiet and the location is great.

Chippens Hill and the northeast side of town also have some beautiful areas - very high scale homes. That section will take you forever to get anywhere though.

Any questions, feel free to email!
