It might require more planning than you want to do for an elopement, but I believe the Harkness Estate (Harkness State Park) in Waterford, 15 minutes from Mystic, is often used for outdoor ceremonies. It is a mansion with manicured gardens and lawns, right on Long Island Sound. The grounds are beautiful.

Are you looking to rent facilities or use public grounds?

Who is marrying you? If it is a local Justice of the Peace, they may have suggestions. Good luck, Jay

Looked at the Old Lighthouse Museum - does anyone have an opinion on it? We don't want to pay a lot (as it's only the 2 of us and most seem to talk about the number of people it can accommodate). Free is better but don't care to spend a little.
Also, anyone have any suggestions for a photographer?
Thanks so much1
