Default Sightseeing in Conn

Hi All,

I will be taking a 30 day motorcycle ride thru New England this coming August. I'd like to see some nice sights in your state if anyone has any recommendations. Thanks.

Antonio84 is on a distinguished road
Here is the Conn. tourism website:

Visit Connecticut! The Official Connecticut State Vacation Guide

If you will be entering CT via NY on I-95 or the Hutchinson River Parkway (once in CT it becomes the Merrit Parkway route 15), keep in mind that the first rest area on both highways have a CT tourism welcome center. Stop there for free road maps, a tourist guide with everything to see and do, and even ask for help at the counter.

If coming via NY, I would highly recommend taking the Merrit Parkway route 15. Its one of the most scenic highways in the country, it was built during the Great Depression and it has some neat historic bridges.

Enjoy the state!

There is a "sticky" thread at the top of this board with this information. I suggest you read that for things to do. Jay

Well, I ride and let me tell you...some of the best roads for riding are in this state.

I posted a thread here with a nice loop to drive if you wish.

You won't regret the drive, I can promise you.

There are a ton of other sites to see on the way if you don't want to spend that much time here.

Thanks for the info all. Also, sorry for duplicating what's already here on the sticky thread. Sometimes another rider will answer and provide additional info.
