It is, the point I made earlier is this is an unusually rainy month. In 1982, a foot of snow fell over most of Southern CT on April 6 (the Yankees game was "snowed out" as 10" fell in NYC.....I remember too as a high schooler in Westchester County because they used Easter/Passover break to knock off days off if there were too many snow days and this screwed that so for awhile they extended Memorial Day weekend for this purpose, at least in years where the spring holidays came in late March) and it was the snowiest month of that year, that doesn't mean that April is normally the snowiest month here.
