I can't imagine why anyone would want you off the board. You do contribute a lot to this forum. Really, a message board needs people of different ideas and beliefs or it becomes boring!

It's sad the way forum politics work. I've been embroiled in some hot water recently on the NoVA sub-forum, and one of my adversaries made it public that she, too, had received a DM from a member of the NEPA forum warning her that I was "bad news." I figured out which member it was, and we hashed out our differences via DM.

When I was seriously considering a move to Manchester last year I always remember you, JViello, as being the most helpful member on here, and I thank you for that. Even though we're on opposite ends of the political spectrum you didn't hold my being a "damn liberal" against me and still did your best to offer advice and insight that I found incredibly helpful. Due to receiving a much better career opportunity my life is now taking me to VA instead of CT, but such is life.

The more upstanding you are, the more jealous people tend to become of your popularity as well. I would pass it off as being a compliment if someone felt threatened by your intellect.

So let it loose...lets get this in the open because I'm sick of the sh*t. You may not agree with me, but I put considerable time into this forum to help people looking into CT and for the regulars to find "stuff".

If I'm "not wanted" let it be known and I'll kindly move on and gain a lot more personal time.
South Carolina? So different in so many ways from our own beautiful state.

I actually have found most of your posts to be very informative. I do have to say, since we are being honest, that you do tend to push down others' opinions, on occasion, that differ from your own. However, your opinion, 95% of the time, is right on the money and highly valued, IMO.

Maybe some troll is trying to push your buttons? What the heck are you doing in South Carolina? Doesn't the CT forum take enough of your time?

Just a thought, JViello, the southern hospitality thinking isn't always receptive to the New England straight forward, tell it like it is, sort of thinking. Maybe your straight forward manner really isn't wanted? Just saying......I spent some time in the deep south and.....well......no comment.

Some folks belong in New England, no matter the taxes and the high cost of living......just saying......

JV if these so called DMs are being sent then you know who they are from. Handle it with them. When did the CT forum start being about you?
You apparently didn't read his initial post well enough. Some posters from THIS forum (you come to mind now as being a potential suspect since you insulted him here) were sending DMs to OTHER MEMBERS on ANOTHER FORUM to slam him behind his back. He can't just view the DMs. The same thing happened to me with someone from the NEPA forum slandering me via DM to adversaries of mine in a fight on the NoVA forum to help give them some "ammo" for their end in what have become legendary brou-ha-has in which several of us have routinely been given infractions.
