Hi,

How do I get from NYC to JFK? Is there a subway or bus?
I am leaving tomorrow.

THanks

The one time I have made that trip, I took a shuttle bus from just outside of Grand Central to the JFK terminal. No idea how frequently those buses leave, I'm sure if you looked at JFK's or MTA's websites they would have specific information, though.

Take the A train (from the nearest subway stop near you that the A train runs on) to the JFK station and then you take the airtrain to your terminal.

BAM.

Default No Don't do that!

Take the LIRR to Jamica station and then switch to the airtran which goes to every terminal at JFK. This takes a total of about :40 minutes and costs $10.00. The A train takes FOREVER!

A Train is cheaper but probably more like 1:15 minutes just to get to Jamaica station.

I always take Long Island RR from Penn Station to Jamaica and then the airtrain which leaves every 5-10 minutes to every terminal.

Yeah but its more fun to thake the long way. Or at least I've found it is.

But most times if I'm going to JFK I drive and it takes about 50-60 min. from my house .
