Would anyone know of people/companies that install swingsets around Stratford? I was planning to buy a boxed kit from BJ's or Sam's Club (the "established" companies like Rainbow & Creative Playthings are much more expensive, for the bigger sets).

The set would be fairly large, with 3 swings + tower + slide, something like this:

With plenty going on at work and home, my wife and I just don't have the time to put it together ourselves. Any feedback on installers & approximate costs (if known) would therefore be appreciated, thanks.

You would probably have to find a local handyman or something along those lines who would be willing to do this. If you have a local publication I would look there.

I think it may be a bit expensive to have someone do it. I helped a friend set one up last weekend from a kit from Cedar Works. It was a bit simpler looking than the one you show above and it took 4 of us from about 9am to 4pm (with an hour break for lunch) to set it up completely. Make sure you check yours for broken parts before the set up begins. The one we did had two pieces of wood that had snapped during shipping. Luckily they were just part of the railing so we could still set the whole thing up. good luck!

Usually Lowes and Home Depot offer these types of services. Check the local paper for someone that does this type of work on the side or even talk to the place you bought it. Our local bike shop assembles things for people too. Check them as well. Jay

Thanks, I checked with the neighborhood Home Depot but they weren't much help. BJ's (who sell the unit in the picture) didn't have any information either. I'll keep an eye on local listings.

Craigslist or Servicemagic.com it, you might find help there. Our manual said 8-10 hours to set up, took 20 hours one person.

Make sure you have a flat spot to to install. Any little grade change is noticable.
