Need Info on Winsted Indian Meadow Ski Area in the Mid 1960's
I am trying to find information on a ski area that was in Winsted called Indian Meadow Ski Area in the Mid 1960's
It was located on Marshall St. in Winsted. It was on property owned by the Passini family who also ran the ski area and a farm on the site. It had one rope tow, two slopes, I think maybe 500 - 600 feet, and a warming lodge in one part of a barn. I think it operated in the mid sixties for a few years, used mostly by local skiers, the upper tow shack remained for many years.
Does anybody else have any more information?
