I have lived in EH all my life and recently accepted a relocation from my employer to Tampa, Fl so...I have a beautiful house for sale, not going on the market until January. We like to refer to our area as the "Glastonbury Line"...cul-de-sac plus school across the street and we are on 1.45 acres...not something you find easily in EH. EH is close to everything and I will miss it!

There are nice neighborhoods also on the Manchester/EH town line.. Go see the houses up near Hilltop, that's right off of Silver Lane and also the neighborhoods across from that are nice. i.e. Knollwood, Millwood, etc. Also some really NICE houses at decent prices and sort of quiet compared to many places in the area where you are next to the interstate. On the Silver Lane side, most of the houses have sidewealks, always a plus for me, as you can take a walk right from your house and not need to have to drive somewhere to safely take a walk!
Wow.. has EH reputation really dropped THAT much? I knew they brought over all the welfare recipients and put them up on Burnside Ave. that did not help the housing values much, but what else is going on in EH that makes it so bad now?
Is there alot of crime?
