Default Newcomers to Danbury

I am trying to help a new immigrant family of 4 from India settle in Danbury. They will need to find housing. Which area has reasonably priced apartments close to public transportation. They do not have a car.

They will be arriving at JFK. Is there any train or shuttle from JFK to Danbury?

Also, what is the cost of living like in Danbury. They are not highly skilled and will have to start with entry level, minimum wage type jobs. Are these types of jobs hard to find in Danbury?

i can help you with the train.. there's a metro north train (Harlem line) that goes between Grand Central and Brewster NY which is just outside Danbury. from there you can take the HART bus to get into Danbury.
