Check the Hartford Courant and Monster.com. There should be something around Hartford that you could get. I really like it here. Nice small city, great suburbs. A very nice place to live. Jay

I grew up in Woodstock and my grandparents have lived in Putnam since i was born. I have to say that although there are more business' in Putnam I would say living in Woodstock is fair nicer if you can afford it. Also I never went to the schools in Putnam but I will say I enjoyed the Woodstock school system.
