We don't exclusively heat our home with firewood, but we do have two fireplaces that we often use. I just bought a cord of wood for $250.00, including delivery, from D R Charles in Monroe.
The majority of heating I do with a wood stove. I don't pay for wood as I have a couple acres and tons of wood from some clearing. Probably enough for 5 years at least.
BUT I do believe the going rate is around $200.00
Just keep in mind you can "loose stack" a cord and "tight stack" a cord as they are dimensional and not by weight.
